Welcome to the Deerstalking Fair 2018
The Official Website
The Deerstalking Fair will run over the weekend of 24th and 25th of March, 2018 at the Border Union Agricultural Society in Springwood Park, Kelso.
The organisers are keen to ensure the fair has a long life, so each year try to introduce something new for the visitors, and the line-up for this event is looking good so far.
There will be exhibitors displaying rifles, optics, clothing, footwear, general stalking equipment, custom rifles, reloading equipment, deer dog equipment and so on, but we have also expanded on the demonstrations and seminars.
There are several seminars planned over the course of the weekend including deer biology, rifle accuracy and carcass preparation. These have been very popular over the last few years.
The United Kingdom Deer Track and Recovery (UKDTR), will again be present. This year as well as a seminar, they will be doing a live tracking demonstration in the grounds of the venue (weather permitting). This will be a demonstration to show the importance of a handler and dog working as a team, shot site inspection and what to look for on the track of a lost or wounded beast.
Viking Arms are sponsoring the event and fantastic prizes can be won each day by visitors.
As promised previously, only exhibitors and products related to deerstalking or of interest to stalkers will be at the fair. Admission is £10 for adults with children under 16 free. Parking is also free.
